The Glenburgie distillery is nestled merrily in the Speyside region, and it has produced whisky for a number of top blends over its time, with Ballantine’s featuring it as one of its core ingredients. In fact, the distillery was completely re-built in 2004 to keep with the enormous demand for Ballantine’s blends! However, we reckon they need to install some defences against pilfering giants - as should everyone. It’s a standard safety procedure that everyone should follow. We’ve even shown what could happen if a giant decided to have a nose-about the distillery on our Glenburgie label. What’s he looking for, though?
Nose: Oak-y warmth at first, paired with fresh ginger. A little bit nutty at points.
Palate: Clove studded citrus and well-rounded tropical fruit notes.
Finish: Tropical fruits remain sweet and lively on the finish.
