We've bottled a quartet of expression from Virginia's Reservoir Distillery - this particular edition is made using 100% Corn. Along with the other grains (Rye and Wheat), they combine together like some sort of delicious Megazord to create the Reservoir Bourbon that we also bottled. The distillery's founders, Jay and David, look mightily pleased with it on the label...
Nose: A suggestion of baking spices and oak char temper the waves of dark and decadent aromas of toffee, vanilla and salted butter.
Palate: More of that salted butter leads the rich, creamy palate with plenty of help from vanilla fudge and caramel sauce.
Finish: Winter spice arrives in a medium-length finish.
