We are *extremely* excited to announce something we've been bursting to scream from the rooftops for some time now - we've teamed up with Drinks by the Dram to create what is surely the greatest Advent Calendar in the world!

Behind each of the 24 windows is a different 3cl sample dram of one of our small batch whiskies! Perhaps you could start to guess which might be included by peering into the illustrated windows on the box below...

Jackanackanory it's Tobermory!

What's the story? A tasty new Tobermory! Our fourth batch of this single malt from the Isle of Mull is 21 years old.

Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull produces two different malts, a regular upeated Tobermory and a peated version often known as Ledaig. If a whisky label simply states that the contents were "distilled at Tobermory" how can you be sure which you are getting? You can't! (Careful now. - Ed) This was one of the concerns whizzing round our brains when we redesigned our Tobermory label and what fell out was one of our favourite scenes from Alan Partridge transported to the appropriate Scottish isle complete with torches-attached-to-bicycle-wheel lights and a toilet-door-balanced-on-a-Black-&-Decker-Workmate table, the handle of which has a hard on hat. Except Pete off of Dante Fires has a cross over him. No Pete. Clearly, this was the most straightforward way to convey that this is an unpeated whisky. That much is entirely clear.

Introducing our new batch of Clynelish single malt - a 15 year old!

Those grammatically challenged cats of the internet are back one again with our third batch of Clynelish, the first since we introduced age statements for all new releases. You may also notice that the ginger tom cat now has a small candle in his cute little paw. Is this because Clynelish can in fact hold a candle to Brora? Or simply a reference to the spirit's waxy character? U can makes decide.
