You’ve probably noticed that we like to keep a secret every now and then, and the distillery behind this Speyside single malt will remain under wraps just like the other secrets we keep. Absolutely no clues whatsoever... So Richness. Such mystery. Wow.
Nose: As dark as treacle, this reminded us of vintage leather coats, long aged cigars, wood panelled libraries and rich, dark chocolate cake. Notes of rancio, dark roasted coffee grounds, molasses, cinnamon, and nutmeg. There’s a tarry, oily smoke too.
Palate: Rich, dark, and decadent. Treacle, bitter dark chocolate, dried plums, dark soy sauce adding a pinch of salt to a savoury note.
Finish: Long lasting and drying, with black cherry, dark plums, and polished oak
