Ahoy-hoy! It's our bottling of single malt from the Smögen distillery in Sweden! Founder Par Caldenby gives a cheerful wave on our label, right in front of the lighthouse on Hållö Island that appears in Smögen's logo! Fun fact: Legendary inventor Alexander Graham Bell used to enjoy answering the newly-invented telephone with "Ahoy-hoy!".

Tasting notes:

Nose:  A sweet juicy fruit opening is followed by dark plum jam. There’s burnt sugar, cola cubes and coal dust too.

Palate: Again, opening sweet, with berry fruits but quickly  turning smoky with anthracite, liquorice and black pepper.

Finish: Very long with waves of sweet smoke and hints of salty liquorice.
