Another label that has evolved for this batch, this time featuring our compliance team exclaiming their default (and incredibly wise) reaction to most of the bonkers details our label briefs: NO!

You’ll notice this is labelled as a ‘Blended Malt’ but you should also see some spoons. Yes, this is a teaspooned malt, from Campbeltown. With only three distilleries in this once booming whisky town, you’ll quickly be able to establish what malts are in this ‘blend’.

Campbeltown was once the centre of the Scotch whisky industry, the crown jewel of distilling in Scotland with 30 distilleries operating on the small peninsula in the early 20th century.

The glorious ‘disco cows’ are a reference to the old Glen Scotia packaging released back in 2014 - a clue perhaps?

Tasting notes:

Nose: Savoury start with bay leaves, cured meats and dried fruits. Mint chocolate, ginger and honey, too.

Palate: Stewed plums, grapefruit peel, malted milk biscuits, nutty texture and a long spicy finish.
