The Arran distillery sits on the Isle of Arran, the largest island in the Firth of Clyde. Founded relatively recently in 1993, though the development was halted as there was a family of eagles raising their young in the roof! One of those eagles can be seen on the labels of our Arran bottling, pinching a bottle of Arran from Boutique-y artist Emily Chappell and her chum who are stranded on the island. What would an eagle do with a bottle of whisky, we hear you ask? Wouldn’t you like to know...
Nose: Tropical fruit juices, mineral-rich sea breeze and a scoop of caramel ice-cream.
Palate: Fresh citrus peels, barley and spicy malt.
Finish: English muffins with a thick layer of butter, some candied peels.
