Our Blended Malt #1 was almost entirely made using the whisky from a very well-loved distillery in the Speyside region, though after distillation the whisky was spooned - what this means is that a touch of whisky from another distillery is added. This stops other companies from releasing the distillery’s whisky under their name. Spooning - write it down in your copy-books now. There will be a test. Our label shows a congregation of whisky enthusiasts honouring the spoon. They really love that spoon. 

Tasting notes:

Nose: Lots of baked goods, including apple pies and cinnamon rolls. Hints of raisins and vanilla-y malt.

Palate: Vanilla-rich, with plenty of dried fruit sweetness in support. Caramel-coated chocolate, too.

Finish: Cinnamon warmth and citrus peels underneath a layer of honey.
